Santa brought me some cash which I'm saving up for an IPAD the first of May! I sacrificing eating out during the week for 12 weeks so I can get one. Pretty lame huh...
I realized my mom doesn't approve of anything I do when it comes to the boys. I can totally tell by her reaction. She doesn't hide it very well, and I'm just like her in that sense. Oh well...
We suck as parents and I already know, so whatever.
My sister got engaged which was aweseome! SO fun!
Other than that , I had a great time with family. Can't wait to do it all over again next year!
Preston is potty trained and Chase is ALMOST THERE! I am suspect they will be done by mid January totally, except for a night..
Still trying to get the boys to sleep in their OWN BEDS AT NIGHT!
I'M DOING IT tonight! Wish me luck! I'm sure I'll be up till midnight and all night long!

Okay, So I'm a Liar, I guess
I decided to blog again... LOL!
So I ain't got no, Ipad or Ipad 2, a sorry laptop computer, no router, a used printer with no color ink and that I have to put heavy paper on to keep the lid closed so it will work, No new car, No kitchen table, no wood floors, no King Size bed, No Kindle or Kindle Fire, No huge savings account, No money basically, etc...
BUT......
What I do have is a health Chase and Preston who are growing, talking and learning more and more each day. That makes me happy and If I can remember that everytime I'm envious on what other folks have, I think I'll be alright. :)
I have to get in my head that all that stuff is sooo materialistic which I can say I DO get caught up in, doesn't really mean anything if you and your family aren't healthy. We could have it worse. We have a house and we can eat and both have jobs. What else is there??? :)
I'm just going to keep dreaming big!

Thanksgiving Came and Went
Where am I now? Planning for the boys 3rd birthday party this saturday. I decided to have it early this year and now around their Actual birthday , which is December 23rd.
I'm ordering their cake tonight or tomorrow. It's a Toy Story cake. I can't make cakes like some very talented moms. :(
I'm getting so very exctied. we have 14 kids coming.! Hopefully , they will come. If not, that's okay. Things come up!
I enjoyed my 2 days off work plus the weekend last night. Very relaxing. I did go to Toy R us on Friday around 10am to get the boys NEW bikes for Christmas. Its the 14 inch Mater bike. YAY!!! Another friend is getting them matching helmets for their birthday. So that's cool!
We will also be in town for Christmas and plan on visiting my in laws New Year's eve weekend. I don't think I've been down there all year! I can't remember. Still doing Mary Kay which is helping financially.
Preston is pretty much potty trained now! Except for a night. he's always soaked! So i Chase some of the time, but other times he holds it. Amazing!
Preston will even go poo poo on the toilet! He finally is over the whole standing up to poop! :)
Chase is pretty much there too, but has had a few more accidents and has YET to poop in the toilet. Soon though!!
Oh the next step is to get them to sleep in the beds ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Over Christmas break! That's our plan!

Happy Halloween!!!
So instead of them fighting over who's going to be what, I just dressed them in the same costume. Lightening McQueen. They are REALLL into "fast" cars are they say. So i thought it was appropriate. I don't actually like the Cars movies b/c I think they are boring! I should have just done Woody and Buzz Lightyear...
I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 3 and half weeks and Christmas right after that.

Europe Bound
In less than 48 hours I will be on a plane to London!! I'm so pumped about going over seas! I love going to different countries and see how they live? I'm so excited to get a break from work. It's been so busy and stressful lately!!
I have so much to do though!! I'll get it done though! I can't even type right now! Will tell all about when I return in two weeks!

Go Frogs!
So me and the family attended the SMU vs TCU game this past saturday. I received my MBA from TCU and my husband his Masters of Engineering from SMU via our company paying for them. THANKS!!! :)
Well since my boss and many others that work for my company attend the games and tailgate, we made our visit. Plus we got free tickets to the game! As you can see in the new photo that I got them TCU shirts. My husband didn't care either way. He's more of an Texas A&M fan b/c he went there in undergrad. Anyways, we had a good time! It was hot, but not as hot as like say 105. It was only 88, but sitting in the stands in the sun was draining. Plus the boys can't sit a whole game anyways, so we ended up going down to the lower level to let them walk and run around. Took picture with the Chick fil a cow that was there. All in all, it was a fun trip even though, I had to work that morning from 9-11:30. I also missed a friend's son's 2 year birthday party at 11 at her house. Still very sad about that, but it's hard sometimes. I have to realize that I can't make every event, even though I do try...
I missed another friend's kids birthday party and I honestly think, I've been to everyone of her parties. Well maybe 3 years old was he first one I went to. Anyways, I was sad.
On another note, the boys are so good! Preston's new words are "Nope", "Not Yet" and "Okay". So cute. I mean he says many other words, but those are some cute ones.
Chase hasn't caught on to those words, but I"m sure it'll be soon. Preston is usually the first to bring in new words. I love the fact that I hear them talking with each other and having cute little conversations that I can actually understand! Oh yesterday, I was making cookies from scractch and Preston says' Mommy?, What you doing?" I love it!
Let's talk Europe
9 More days until London (1day), Munich(4 days), Berlin(2 days) and Salzburg, Austria(1 day) ! Crazy huh? I'm so not packed or prepared. I'm just trying to get through each day.
Once again, I has so much to talk about and someone called and got me distracted on my thought process, so bye for now.

Resturants and children
I just read the funniest post from a fellwo blogger. The name of her blog is Buried with Children. See link here.
She is a mom of triplets and a singleton. She was saying how she has trained her children how to act in a resturant and if you never take them to resturants then they will never know. Well, we don't ever go to resturants b/c of what had happened the few times we have take them. So Friday was my husband's birthday, 9/15 and we went to Fridays. We figured since Friday's is NOT a quiet resturant if they were loud it'll be okay. Well it wasn't the fact of them making a lot of noise or crying it was CHASE throwing things! He threw a napkin over the booth to another girls plate, it was horrible. He did it soo fast we couldn't stop him! He just wouldn't sit still. I was really impressed with Preston. AND no the crayons and paper did NOT hold their attention all but 3 minutes. The games on my phone pretty much kept Preston's, but Chase could care less.
Anyways, what I think I am going to do now is take them to a resturant every Friday night and TRAIN them on how we act while there. Otherwise, we will never be able to go to resturants b/c they won't know any better...
Someone commented saying they take their kids to Mexican resturants b/c of the chips ans salsa. My kids have never had salsa, but I think it's time to expose them to it! That might keep them occupied till food comes, but what will they eat? A fajita? LOL!
Any ideas of good kid resturants/loud ones to get your kids accustomed to how to act? I'm determined to get them to sit down and keep themselves busy.
In another note, I ran 2 miles on the treadmill at lunch today work. Now for my 4 miles on Saturday. :) On the road to my Half!

where do i begin
Oh gosh, it's been so long since I've blogged.
Hmm... What's been going on?
1) I'm actually training for the half marathon in december. YAY! Started this week.
2) Work is busy because I have a new manager and i'm like training him?
3) I'm heading off to Germany with my sisters for our bi annual sister trip. Minus one sister.
4) Kids continually keep me busy and puzzle me. Preston has a rash on his leg that we can't figure out what's up. Changing Pediatricians finally, MINE is just horrible.
That's what's going on in a nutshell.
Every day on the way to work, I see a plan either landing or taking off from DFW Int'l airport and I just imagine that being me in 24 days!! YES! I am counting down!! :)
There was so much I wanted to blog about, but I forgot now. :(

Dinner
I need knew dinner recipes/ideas! I cook the same 7 things over and over again and I really want to try something new!
If anyone still reads this, could you send a recipe in my comment area or email me? I've tried going to allrecipes.com, but I don't know if those are good. I don't know... I need something simple and fast! U know?
Anyways, our weekend was slower than usual. Not big events. I just went to a friends baby shower Saturday at 3:30pm. It was lots of fun actually.
There were so many pregnant ladies there, I hope something wasn't in the punch! I atleast counted 5 of them! It seems like a lot of my friends are popping up pregnant with their 2nd pregancy this year.. I think I'll let them have that and me, wait a while longer, if it ever happens again...
I can't imagine my life being any busier than it already is!
Oh MY GOODNESS!! I have 7 more weeks till I go to London and Germany and Austria!! Crazy!!!!!
I guess I need to sort of prepare!! Does anyone have any tips on traveling to Europe?

What I LOVE Thursday
This post was orginally typed yesterday, but forgot to send it last night. I was going to up load the photo. Never did.
I LOVE H&M!!! It opened today at the Dallas Mall! The first one in Texas!
I work close enough to go by during lunch. Well... didn't quite get in. The line to get in was in sections in the whole mall and people had been outside since 9pm last night. I had no time for that. So I'll be revisiting. I swear In and Out burger, now this.
I love H&M, but I don't love them that much!:)

This Morning Set it Off
Here I am driving to work, going down the SAME street that I got 3 traffic tickets on a week ago. I've been avoiding this street like the plague ever since. Well I decided against my better judgment to go this exact same way to work again. Well, I accidentally ran a red light. It was a quick yellow light and I couldn't stop! I tried, but it was impossible. So there I see the camera , then the flash and now I owe the city some more money. I think its $75 for the ticket. On to another payment plan.
I had just recieved, a $195 speeding ticket, that I Can NOT take defensive driving. I guess I'll get it deferred so it won't go on my record. I ticket for my inspection sticker( we are getting on this week hopefully) and then no insurance. I have insurance, but it wasn't in the car. The other car had like 3 of the them. Go figure.
Anyways, that set me in a somber mood and I'm just here today... Gosh, I hate my circumstances sometimes in life. Can I catch a break? ONCE EVER!????
Preston told me yesterday when I put my hand on his forehead, that he HAD a FEVER! Where does he get this from? It's not like they been sick recently. I just busted out laughing when he said that. It was sooo funny. You kind of had to be there too! They are both having Allergy issues right now, so not only does Chase have a runny nose , he has his famous drainage cough. So funny, Preston NEVER gets that cough. I mean, they are TWO different people. :)

OMG! It's Friday and I haven't posted all week!
This week flew by! Seriously! I can't believe have just about 8 weeks until I leave for Germany! So not ready!
This weekend is going to fly by too! Well atleast Saturday is. Sunday will be rest day even though I do want to take the boys to church at 11. So we'll see how they do.
Honeslty, nothing is really going on in my life besides the usual. Work, Kids, working out. etc..
My niece and nephew are turning 14 on Saturday!!! 14 years old!! Geeze. Time does fly!! I was entering my freshman year the summer they were born. That means I graduated highschool 14 years ago!! WHAT!?? Oh geez! Anyways, they are Freshman in High School now. My niece is plays the flute in the band and is going to be in Color Guard this year. Can't wait to see her! You know, I was in color guard! I Loved it!
My nephew doesn't do any sports or music. He's just a Straight A Student and so is my niece! Such smart kids! Oh he likes to play XBOX, that's right! LOL!

It retails at Macy's for $348.00. 5 years ago I would just buy it, now.. I can only dream.. SO perfect for work and for weekends b/c it has a strap!!
For my birthday my mom gave me Estee Lauder's Pleasures perfume and my dad gave me Quicken! LOL! I'm in love with that also. Now we can forecase out weeks ahead on how much we can or can not spend in order to keep from spending too much! I LOVE IT!! I wish we had done this 5 years ago!!! :)
So tomorrow the boys are off School for Teacher Training for the upcoming school year, so I am taking the day off and taking the boys to the Dallas Aquarium! Thank goodness its free for them! I'm not going to like it when they turn 3 years old next year! LOL! So I know they will enjoy all the fish and sharks etc... My mom is meeting me there since my hubby will be at work. I'll take pics!

Work
I rarely talk about my job , but I am today because....
I love where I work! I love the people here! Super nice! Super helpful. My manager is so cool, laid back, not a micro manager! Family oriented. Flexible. I really just love it here. And the work I do here , ain't that bad either! :) I'm just really happy here , more than I thought I would. I mean I don't dread going to work. WEll I hate getting up and driving here , but I don't hate it when I get here b/c it's such a great environment!
I've met really great people here. Some ladies in a nother group b/c I;m a one man island or woman, brought me Sprinkles cupcakes today for my birthday! She over heard me talking about how I LOVE sprinkles! So surprising! Then I got 2 different Birthday cards signed by many people and then my manager offered to take me to lunch, but it was after I had already left with another co worker. :( He said we'll probably do it in a couple of weeks. My friend also bought my meal at Pei Wei for my birthday! That was so sweet! So anyways, today has been really enjoyable and busy at work today.
The only thing I wish that I could change about my job is where it is located. :( It's about 35 to 40 minute commute. Oh how I wish I could be 15 minutes or less from my home!
I love where I work! I love the people here! Super nice! Super helpful. My manager is so cool, laid back, not a micro manager! Family oriented. Flexible. I really just love it here. And the work I do here , ain't that bad either! :) I'm just really happy here , more than I thought I would. I mean I don't dread going to work. WEll I hate getting up and driving here , but I don't hate it when I get here b/c it's such a great environment!
I've met really great people here. Some ladies in a nother group b/c I;m a one man island or woman, brought me Sprinkles cupcakes today for my birthday! She over heard me talking about how I LOVE sprinkles! So surprising! Then I got 2 different Birthday cards signed by many people and then my manager offered to take me to lunch, but it was after I had already left with another co worker. :( He said we'll probably do it in a couple of weeks. My friend also bought my meal at Pei Wei for my birthday! That was so sweet! So anyways, today has been really enjoyable and busy at work today.
The only thing I wish that I could change about my job is where it is located. :( It's about 35 to 40 minute commute. Oh how I wish I could be 15 minutes or less from my home!

Celebrating???
Not this year. My birthday is on Sunday and I am not doing anything. My mom is coming over and bring me some Sprinkles cupcakes, so that'll be yummy!!
I might go see a movie Saturday night. Friends with Benefits, who knows if I can stand to see Justin Timberlake in a 'leading role', but we'll see.
I'm treating myself to the hair salon at lunch Friday. I'm not even doing a work birthday lunch. Not so much care this year. It's been a interesting year and hopefully by this time next year(if the world doesn't end in May 2012) we will be better off!
Preston took his diaper off the other night all by himself and went potty! I'm so proud! He's hardly ever wet, although I did try to put him in underwear Saturdya morning and he pooped in them like 30 minutes later. I forgot about Saturday morning poops! LOL! I do it again this weekend. Chase is doing better with going to the potty also, so cross your fingers. They can't move up to the next classroom until they are potty trained, but that won't be until Dec sometime. I would like to be done by August 31st. WE'll see.
I'm really not getting anything for my birthday either. My mom is getting me this Este Lauder Pleasures perfume I wanted and who knows if I'll get anything else. A card for the hubby and boys. That's all I need. We are pushing our Hawaiian Falls trip to August 6th. It's so hot here though! Really, I am so used to it. I've been here since I was born and never lived outside of Texas. I'm not complaning, just dealing with it. All you northern folk, my have an issue.
I started reading Harry Potter! I'm only on like Chapter 7 of the 1st book, but I'm trying to finish atleast the first 4 by August 18th. That's when my coworker leaves and I won't have free access to the books. I am sure I will find someone else. I've also have been enjoying some tv. A new show on USA called Suits is really good! I've been watching Necessary Roughness too. It's good. Not as good as Suits!
True blood is back on HBO, such a crazy weird show , but entertaining. Then Entourage came back on Sunday, last season, but I was dissapointed with the 1st episode. Project Runway premieres tomorrow! YAY! Love that show. Not that I would EVER wnat to design clothes or Sew, but I love fashion and I love the creativity these people come up with and how fast that do it too! So that's pretty much it on my summer shows. I wish it could be like this all year round. About 6 shows, but once fall hits, It'll be back to like 12~!! I don't konw how I keep up and I really don't. I still have Body of Proof to watch. I think I have 7 of them. Not sure if that's a good show. WE'll see.
Working out. It's going. I've started to do interval training at the middles school track on Mon and Tues. I haven't been gettnig up at 5:45am anymore and running. It's like once I stopped I can't get my body up and do it anymore. :( Bummer b/c that is the BEST time for working out. You burn so much more than doing it in the evening.
Monday, work is about to get busy again b/c of Month End Reporting. Our company is hiring many more people which is cool. Good times!
Okay, that's all for now.

Eeewwww ANTS!!
We've never really had a bug problem since we moved into our house almost 5 years ago this September 30th. Yes, I remember the actually date! I Signed a lot of papers that day! LOL!
I woke up after standing on my rug in the bathroom straigtening my hair to see ants on the floor! EWW!! Gross! I hate crawly things. I had a bad experience with ants at my summer apt at college my senior year. They were everywhere, in my clothes hanging in my closet, really? Anyways, these were after some crumbs that were in a ziplock bag that i put in the bathroom trashcan. Okay, so maybe that was a mistake, but we've never had a ant problem, so I didn't think much of it. So nasty! Just thinking about it. So I guess I need to be more careful from now on. Oh and they were also in the kitchen eating some crumbs that were on the floor from the boys eating. I hate bugs! I woke my husband up to spray b/c he was still sleep. I leave earlier than he and the boys. I just hope when I get home they are all gone! We had just mopped and swept Tuesday night too, but the crumbs in the kitchen were from last night at dinner. Don't think that I don't pick up stuff off the floor, b/c I did my best last night b/c I knew we had just mopped and I wanted to keep the floor clean. I guess I missed some. Oh well. I am tired and got other stuff to do! LOL!
Today , is Benihana birthday club day for me and a friend and I'm starving waiting for her to text me saying she's on her way! UGH! I have a $30 certificate voucher! YAY!!
At 3pm today, I'm attending my 1st and only highschool boyfriend's funeral. He drowned in a nearby lake last Tuesday. So sad. He was so young! It was something that could have been avoided if he was wearing a life jacket. He thought he could swim in the choppy Lake that day. :( :(
When it comes to lakes, I don't play. Anyways, it'll be really sad and I'm sure I'll see some of the guys I knew from High School there.

Friday!!!
I worked from home this morning because my car, needed to get it's CV joint replaced. Something todo with the brake/tire system. Who knows. So, I'm on vaca now! It'll be quick, but who cares. Oh we have a busy weekend.
Massage in the morning, Baby shower(taking boys to parents house), Hubby is playhing golf and then a friends 40th birthday party, in Downtown Dallas.
So there is so much to do for the kids here in DFW area. They opened a LEGOLand and a new SEA LIFE Aqarium in the Outlet Mall here. We are so excited to take them there. Good thing is , its free for them! I'm going to miss stuff being free next year! LOL! We still need to take them back to the FW Children's musuem too!
I'm putting Preston in little boy underwear tomorrow for the first time. Let's see how many accidents he has. He has none at daycare anymore, so here's hoping. Chase will be next. If only we could get them to poop in the toilet. Maybe if Preston poops in his underwear once, he will understand? Maybe?
My relaxing July 4th weekend details:
I had to work at home until 11pm that night, so I didn't get to do anything fun. Saturday slept in. Went to the gym and ran, cleaned out closets and kitchen rearranging and wentto goodwill. Then mall in the evening and then Bridesmaid(really funny).
Sunday, went to my mom and dad's. Went shopping with her. Headed back to my house with my niece. She helped me finish painting my bathroom. We got PF. Chang's, and watched the movie Beastly. She's 13.
Monday, took her back to my parents house, helped prepare bbq and ate it. LOL! Brought food back home and they arrived at 6pm. They were so excited to see me. By the way, Chase through up and had a fever all day SaturdaY. bOO HOO. hE WAS ok though.
Monday night , went swimming at the community pool.
That's it. I cut out the little stuff.
Probably won't happen again for a bit.

Loving Sundays...
Although, my husband works from 9-2 Sundays, The boys and I have a great relaxing time together, most days. Today was actually one of those days.
I missed my 6:30am run this morning, but my friend invited us over for Sunday Brunch at their house at 10am. It was yummy! We had time to catch up after their trip to San Fran. Also a friend of mine was in town with her family b/c her son was playing in a basketball tournament here. She was able to come over and we all went and watched him play at 4:30pm today.. Then we made a stop and picked up some Babe's Chicken. Sooo yummy! Just smelling inside makes your mouth water!! LOL!
Then after dinner, some time outside in the baby pool and sprinkler. As Chase would say, " I go swimming" He barely even gets in the water! LOL!
Anyways, I have a another birthday coming up which is good b/c I'm still alive, but I'm not telling my real age anymore... Things you learn being a 1st time mom..
Note to self. Do NOT help Preston do anything especially going to the POTTY!! He will throw a tantrum and say words that only he can understand. I told him I was sorry, for taking the tissue and dabbing his wee wee with it. After that he was so mad, got off the step stool, went out said to the game room, fell naked to the ground screaming and my husband and I were so bewildered! Really? So then Chase decides it's time for him to cry too and also not get in the bathtub. Oh back up, we always potty right before we get in bath, so needless to say, Preston had No BATH and Chase cried the whole time my husband gave him one. All because MOMMY wants to help her little boys too much! What can I say, I 'm so used to doing everything for them, so I felt like they need help.
So now from now on, I'll back off, geez!
I mean, there were signs, like Preston saying "I Do it!" , so I should have known really. I am thinking of putting Preston in underwear starting Saturday. That boy is always dry when he goes potty according to the teachers at his school. I think he realizes that he should just go in the potty. Even in the mornings, he is dry a lot now.
Chase, well... he had a little incident the Monday night before Bath. Here he was standing up trying to potty. And he didn't want to get down, saying, "no" So we let him stand there , you know to let him finally pee. Well he sure was straining and I was concerned about why he couldn't potty. Then I saw it coming out his little booty! LOL! I was like, he's pooping!! Catch it! I was telling this to my husband. LOL! Well He did, but some fell down still and Chase wouldn't turn around to sit down. He was turning his leg so perfectly where I couldn't get him on the toilet. Smart boy! Needless to say, he pooped standing up. Luckily , it was like soft or anything, but a turd! Okay, TMI!!! LOL!!
Next story,
Last thursday night, the boys were in their room and I was watching tv and it was late, around 8:45pm. Well all of a sudden, I hear a noise and Chase comes running out crying and holding his arm. I was like, what happend? Preston was pointing to something in the room and that's when I saw it. The whole dresser had ever drawer out and it was tipped over with the bottom drawers keeping it from falling with all the clothes and other junk that was on top of it, now laying on the floor!! LOL!
So who knows if one of them was climbing or what. Scary huh? That if it had fell on on or both of them! BOYS!! I tell ya! I wonder what else is in store with them in the future! Hopefully we won't have any SERIOUS injuries!!

A Three Day Break
The time is almost here. What am I talking about? The weekend when my husband is taking the boys down to see his parents for July 4th weekend. They are leaving at noon on Friday and Returning around 3 or 4pm Monday.
Oh. My. GOSH! I never thought this was going to happen anytime soon. I was shocked when my husband mentioned that he wanted to do it by himself and that I could stay here and have a weekend to myself/do do work around the house. LOL! Which is okay b/c i need to finish painting the bathroom, Clean out almost all closets and donate to goodwill, rearrange sippe cups in cabinets in kitchen and much much more.
I am really going to miss those boys, I mean really. I will get lonely quick, but will enjoy what I'm going to accomplish and the errands and shopping(wont' be much of this) I can do in peace. I'll be down again probably for Thanksgiving or Labor Day(slight chance) to do stuff with them. I think my husband wants to take them to Moody Gardens in Galveston. I would love to go, (i've never been) , but I will go next time and plus they won't remember that I wasn't there. :)
Once they return, that following Saturday or Friday early evening we are taking them to their very 1st Movie! Cars 2!! We've debated on whether 2.5 is too early for a movie. It may be and they won't remember, but I can only imagine their faces when the big movie starts and how loud its going to be!! We'll see how long they actually sit and watch it. Maybe 45 minutes? We will even let them eat candy, but Chase doesn't really like candy. Preston does!!! LOL! He is so me!! So I'm really looking forward to that on July 9th!
Okay, back to me, so yea. Just me , myself and I starting this Friday to Monday. I know some of you are probalby like (I can't believe she's doing that, leaving her kids with her at such a young age, but its' their nana and papa and my husband. I don't think we need any more adults helping out! LOL! To each their own right? I think what's going to happen is that once they hit like 4 or 5 years old, we'll let them spend a week down at nana's in the summer or maybe even longer since my parents are in town. Otherwise, that won't ever see them that much, u know one on one time....
Tonight and Tomorrow, I am going to enjoy my time with them as much as a I can b/c I know I'll miss the WAAAYYY too much this coming weekend.

What a Great Father's Day!
What a wonderful Father's Day we had! The whole weekend was fun actually.
Friday- I went to my softball game while the hubby and the boys ventured to the mall for some indoor play area fun, Dick's Sporting Goods, Barnes & Nobles reading time and a Cookie! LOL!
Saturday, I was able to run in the am. About 9:30am is when its TOO hot to run now in DALLAS. I started at 8:45 and by then, I was dying of sweat and hottness!
Then I went to a friends birthday party at Gymboree with my mom. My husband had his monthly guys golf thing at a country club in Flower Mound(suburb of Dallas). Then I went back to my mom's house after the party for a bit and then I left to go to a friend's, husbands sisters house Juneteeth celebration. It's only celebrated in Texas and if don't know what it is. Google it. :) So there , they have a pool(which me and the boys got in to). Well Chase basically sat on the edge and put his feet in and kicked them. LOL! Preston and I were in the intertube ring, but he didn't want me to hold on to him. He was like "I don it"!. That boy is something else. They also smoke chicken, pulled pork, brisket, hotdogs, links. Delicious! They have a 6 year old boy, so there were plenty of toys upstairs for MY boys to play with and plenty of other kids that age to keep them entertain and helped them. Their favorite? A bullet train on a track that was remote controled. Preston NEVER came downstairs. I had to bring the food upstairs and feed him b/c he was so into that toy! LOL!
We didn't get back home until like 10:30pm that night.
Sunday, while hubby went to work till 2, The boys and I went out to Target. I told them, that when we go to Target they HAVE to stay in the basket and sit down. Low and behold, they acutally did! It was totally sucessful. They didn't even ask to get out and see the toys!
Then we headed off back to my Parent's house to celebrate Father's Day. My mom cooked ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and for dessert she fixed Banana pudding. Yummy!! :) The boys spent almost 2 hours outside with the sprinkler/pool. Okay maybe 1.5 hours. I don't know. Lost track of time. They had soooo much fun!
It was a fun weekend. I didn't get my husband a present Sunday, but I'm getting it this weekend. He just needs a new belt for his work pants. We aren't getting each other any lavish gifts b/c we see the light at the end of the tunnel to become debt free! :)

Friday- I went to my softball game while the hubby and the boys ventured to the mall for some indoor play area fun, Dick's Sporting Goods, Barnes & Nobles reading time and a Cookie! LOL!
Saturday, I was able to run in the am. About 9:30am is when its TOO hot to run now in DALLAS. I started at 8:45 and by then, I was dying of sweat and hottness!
Then I went to a friends birthday party at Gymboree with my mom. My husband had his monthly guys golf thing at a country club in Flower Mound(suburb of Dallas). Then I went back to my mom's house after the party for a bit and then I left to go to a friend's, husbands sisters house Juneteeth celebration. It's only celebrated in Texas and if don't know what it is. Google it. :) So there , they have a pool(which me and the boys got in to). Well Chase basically sat on the edge and put his feet in and kicked them. LOL! Preston and I were in the intertube ring, but he didn't want me to hold on to him. He was like "I don it"!. That boy is something else. They also smoke chicken, pulled pork, brisket, hotdogs, links. Delicious! They have a 6 year old boy, so there were plenty of toys upstairs for MY boys to play with and plenty of other kids that age to keep them entertain and helped them. Their favorite? A bullet train on a track that was remote controled. Preston NEVER came downstairs. I had to bring the food upstairs and feed him b/c he was so into that toy! LOL!
We didn't get back home until like 10:30pm that night.
Sunday, while hubby went to work till 2, The boys and I went out to Target. I told them, that when we go to Target they HAVE to stay in the basket and sit down. Low and behold, they acutally did! It was totally sucessful. They didn't even ask to get out and see the toys!
Then we headed off back to my Parent's house to celebrate Father's Day. My mom cooked ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and for dessert she fixed Banana pudding. Yummy!! :) The boys spent almost 2 hours outside with the sprinkler/pool. Okay maybe 1.5 hours. I don't know. Lost track of time. They had soooo much fun!
It was a fun weekend. I didn't get my husband a present Sunday, but I'm getting it this weekend. He just needs a new belt for his work pants. We aren't getting each other any lavish gifts b/c we see the light at the end of the tunnel to become debt free! :)

It happened Again!
Two nights in a row!! Preston was mad and at every little thing. It started both on the way home telling me which way to go. Preston saying " This way!, No this Way, Mommmy!! I want to go this way!! This way Fire Truck house!" Then he would wine and cry while saying this. I try to tell him we cant' go that way, and this way is home and we'll go see Fire truck house later. It doesn't work, b/c he keeps saying it. By that time, he's upset. He doesn't want to get out of the car, screaming. We get in the house and he's still crying and that's when Chase starts crying just because. Then they both want to sit on my lap and then Preston doesn't want Chase to sit on my lap also. This time, I gave Presotn a fruit snack and told him I had to cook dinner and if he would sit in his chair for me and he actually did while saying he wanted apple juice. So I gave him that and he actually say and watch the whole Dora while I was in the kitchen cooking. Chase on the other hand didn't want to watch tv and wanted to be in the kitchen with me and saying "pick up", "I pick up" reaching his arms for me. He's been really bad about wanting to be picked up all the time now!
Then he got mad when we were leaving in the car to go to Target. I needed to get a few necessities, like milk for the night and Preston wanted to buckle his car seat belt. The bottom part is really hard and they aren't strong enough, but HE wanted to do it. He'll say, "I Do IT" "I Do it!"
Not going into any more detail, it was a disaster but we were able to leave and they actually did good in Target and I didn't have to go to the toy section. Thank goodness b/c they always want to get out and then its hard to put them BACK in the basket. It's only good if my hubby is there.
By the way, I'm by myself on Wed and Thurs nights b/c my husband works a 2nd job , so these are the worst nights for them to throw tantrums. I did manage to pick up some Moscato on the way out! LOL!!
I'm already over this!
Anyways, on a new note, I boubht some shoes the other day that i've been wanting. It's those wedge heel strapy sandals? Black leather straps at the Grapevine Outlet mall here in the area. YAY for me.
Also, the boys have another birthday part at Gymboree, but this time its twins girls that are turning 3. They LOVE gymboree!! Too bad, I can't afford to put them in that sort of thing.
Also, we plan to visit my parents for Father's Day, so that'll be fun. My mom is cooking dinner, not bbq ing thank goodness.
So my husband is trying to take the boys to visit his parents house in Houston which is a 4 hour drive from here, BY himself!! I don't know. The boys are 2.5 and I just think it's kind of dangerous to travel with them by himself, but maybe I'm just over thinking and being protective as a mom. What do yal think? I'll have the whole weekend to myself , where I can get stuff done around the house, re organize, shop, relax, etc... It's hard to pass up. Maybe this could be a yearly thing. My husband and the boys go down to Houston for the weekend to visit and mom stays home! :) Then it can turn into a week and then just send the boys off and me and my hubby stay home. Sounds good!! :)

Some Advice, Please!!
So, both my boys are throwing their terrible two's tantrums. Chase will get upset and cry for a little bit and then he's done. You can easily get him to stop crying or start doing something to get his attention off the fact that he can't have whatever it is he wants.
Preston on the other hand, while cry for like 20 to 25 minutes. I mean screaming. On the floor and hitting stuff, i.e. door, bed anything that he can hit and he will kick whatever it is that he can hit. Then he'll just say no, no, and no whenever you asked him stuff. Like, does he want some juice, or come it with mommy, or do u want... I am not sure that's what your supposed to do, but that's all I know. Try to see if they will do something else to make them happy. I have left him there just screaming and tried to ignore and do stuff with Chase, but it doesn't work. He's just soooo mad!!! If he ever did this in public, this would be embarassing...
How do yal deal with your kids throwing tantrums and screaming and kicking? At one point last night, I didn't know if he would ever stop crying. Nothing I was doing was helping. He didn't even want me to touch him. He would get more mad.

My boys... Boys will be Boys
My boys.. My boys like to use a stick and play with the dirt in the cracks of our driveway, you know the different sections of it and play with the little bugs in there. Get their knees dirty, hand etc...
My boys.. My boys like to play in the sprinkler and when the water rolls down onto the sidewalk in the front of our home, they splash their little feet on the cement where our driveway hits the street, along with all the other junk that's outside on the ground. I was hoping and praying there was no glass or anything to hurt their precious feet.
My boys.. My boys like to wrestle. This involves Preston laying on top of Chase while Chase is face down and putting all his body weight on him until Chase stops laughing and starts whining/crying because he basically can't breathe! Chase does the same, but Preston is a little be stronger and can ususally get up.
My boys.. My boys like to pour water on their heads now in the bath tub and then attempt to do it to each other! LOL
My boys... My boys like to mimic everything I do and or say.
My boys... My boys like to sing songs with Dora and Yo Gabba Gabba. They also sing their alphabet and certain songs I think they learned at school. It's the cutest thing every b/c they don't quite know all the words and their voices are so cute! :) I 've been trying to video tape it.
My boys... Preston likes almost anything sweet. When it comes to cake, he likes the icing and Chase likes the cake and any kinds of bread( he gets that from me).
My boys... My boys LOVE to play basketball, where they often say, "I shoot it" , "I get the ball" , "Me Ball".
My boys... My boys are trying and attempting to go pee pee in the toilet and now wear pull-ups 50% of the time. Accoringing to Chase though, (also known as Chase Man, at daycare, which Preston now calls him that like its his name) pee pee goes in the tub, not the toilet.
I love my boys to death and while I enjoy my time away from them(i've only spent 3 seperate nights away from them since they were born), I enjoy my TIME WAAAAYYYY more when I'm with them! :)

Snooze You Lose
I accidentally, wrote this post yesterday on my old blog.. Oops!
Unfortunately , waiting till the week before to register your kids into swimming lessons on saturday mornings for 2 months, fills up fast. Especially , if you have 2 spots to fill in the same class. I didn't technically wait till the last minute. On May 27th I called to pay over the phone and there were 3 spots left. The girl told me I had to come into the pool to pay. I was leaving that day for San Antonio and didn't have time before we got on the road. Well, I find out from a friend who is going to the same pool, that she paid over the phone no problem. Soooo..... So mad and of course when I call back last week , that one 2 year old class they offer was booked.
The next saturday class the offer is not until August 6th. I really wanted them to start now, but what's 2 more months, I guess. Bummer. Is it like that with all kid activties?
On the baby note, Preston is saying more and more sentences and likes to repeat everything I say back to himself. So cute. Chase also is doing the same thing. I wish they didn't fight so much when they play together and I wish they werent so rough when they are wrestling. It's so interesting that Preston is such the leader since he was 2nd born. Preston basically tries to tell Chase what to do and how to do it and Chase just listens and does it. Most of the time, let's Preston take his toys from him without a fuss.
Tried to potty train this past Saturday. Wasn't sucessful. I think I need to buy a book on this. Really want to get this over with.
We have 3 birthday parties coming up this weekend and next and then I have a baby shower the last Saturday in June. IT's going to be some busy weekends coming up!
Maybe July will be a slower month? This summer I can already see is going to go by fast!!

We're Back from San Antonio/Austin
It was so much fun! The boys did great in the rented Minivan. They enjoyed watching their shows on the portable tv's. That really helped. Most of the time they were sleep. We leave around naptime. :) LOL!
We were able to stop and have dinner with my brother in Austin, see my friend from college Nathalie in San Marcos and finally make our way to San Antonio late that night. We took the shuttle to Sea World at 9am for our breakfast with Sesame Street characters. I'm sorry. I don't have the pictures to post, but I PROMISE I will do it tonight.
It was nice to be inside and avoid the crowds to be in the park early! There was already a line to get inside at 9am, so people must have come out there at 8am. Craziness!
They loved feeding the dolphins, Shamoo show, sea lions, penguins and the aquarium with all the fish! They went to the spray park, but Chase didnt' want to get sprayed! LOL!
We left at 1:30 b/c it was sooo freaking hot and plus it was pretty much nap time. Went back to the hotel, took showers/changed clothes and heading out to the Riverwalk. Hubby and I didn't eat at Sea World, so we drove to pick up something while the boys napped in the car. I think we stayed in the parking garage for 30 minutes at the Riverwalk to finish out their nap.
We then ate dinner(boys ate) at Sbarro in the mall and then did the boat ride. It was a little too long for them or me, I don't know.
Afterwards we left San Antonio on the way back to Austin. We got in the hottub at the Austin hotel that night and just chilled.
The next morning I went and got Mcdonald's pancakes and Bagels for us and then headed over to see my fried Sara from my old job in FW. She has a little 16 month old boy named Ford. Christina you remember Sara right? So we went by her house and chatted and then head to HEB and was back on the road to DFW.
Then at 5 we headed to our friend's house in our neighborhood where he grilled some declious steaks , yummy! I brought our inflatable pool and Preston, Chase and another little girl went swimming. Preston decided it would be more fun to run and then jump/slide into the pool. He had a great time. Chase. Not so much! LOL! I can't wait to bring it back out this weekend in our yard. We had a blast! :)
Monday was relaxation day, even though we did go to the Allen Outlets and stop by my parents house or and looked at some gorgeous Highland Homes in Allen. I LOVE highland homes. I really hope we can purchase our next home Highland. That would be awesome! Anyways, that was fun. These were 400k-700k homes. So we wouldn't ever be able to afford that, but it's nice to look and dream! :) Highland offers lower priced homes from the 200's-300's.
Then we had Babe's Chicken for dinner and we took the boys to the park that evening. ALL in ALL it was a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Both of us enjoyed getting away and the boys did an awesome job. I really want to take them to Virginia next to see my sister. Not sure when though.
I have more to talk about, but that will be in another post tonight.

On the Road Again...
Happy Thursday! Or Friday for me!
This weekend we are taking the boys to Sea World San Antonio!! They are going to LOVE it!! I can't wait!! Well, you know they won't remember , but my hubby and I will always!! So that makes it fun for us to experience this with them! I'll take lots of pictures and videos and try my best to post them. Although most of the time they end up on Facebook.
I plan on seeing my brother in Austin and my old friend from my first job too! She has a little boy who is 15 months. Then I am stopping in San Marcos to see my bestest friend Nathalie.
We plan to go to Sea World Saturday during the day and then the Riverwalk/Mall that evening. LIke 5pm-8.
I'm so excited to get out of DFW AREA!! First vacation of the year! Yippee!!! We are also renting a minivan, so I know the boys will love ALL the room they can walk around in other than the cramped Sedans we have. Hopefully , its a NICE minivan with leather seats and automatic doors etc... We are brining our portbable DVD players so hopefully the boys will actually watch it this time! LOL! I'm just so ready for this day to be over and it be friday!
I'm pretty much finished packing for the boys, so its just me tonight. I sold some Mary Kay to a friend today, so I am swinging by her place tonight. GEEZE this extra cash will come in handy!!!!

Trash TV
As I was discussing in my last post. Some of the shows I'm going to have to give up are.
1) Grey's Anatomy- I agree with you Mel, that its horrible now. I used to love that show too. Interesting to see if they come back next year. There isn't really a good story line anymore
2) Private Practice - Yes, they've run out of stuff. I am starting NOT to like the characters and Na and Addison and Violet are REally getting on my nerves.
3) Desperate housewives - I really don't know WHY I'm still watching it! LOL!
4) House - IT's just boring now. Same o, Same o weird medical stories. Characters are old and boring.
5) The Office - I kind of already gave it up, but still recorded it a little last season and this season. I did see the one when Steve Carell got engaged, that was sweet, and when he left was awfully sad, but I won't watch it again. Not without him. thing is, it was mainly the other characters that were more funnier than him, but I just can't believe it will still be good.
American Idol - I tried to watch it this year without Simon. Talent sucked, Judging sucked and it was just such a waste of my time. Luckily it really just played in the background while I was cleaning and the boys were playing with their toys.
Shows I'm giving 1 more season:
1. Brothers & Sisters (they might be on the way out also)
2. Bethany ever After - she's getting on my nerves
Reality TV - I'm keeping:

So basically, my tv is dwindling, which is good b/c I don't have time to watch all that stuff and I can now devote more time to reading in my downtime. :)

Summarize
Over these past two weeks, my life has been consumed in reading. My sister introduced me to this book called Switched by Amanda Hocking. It's a Trilogy so I read all 3 books in like 4 days. They are short. Not like 500 to 600 like Twilight. It was intertaining and then I started reading her other books, My blood Approves, Flutter etc.. I read the 1st 3 books. I think there are 5, but geeze, I basically go tired.. I had to stop. All I did was think about the characters and what might be happening next. I read as many chances as I get. At night, while the boys are eating, while they play, at stoplights on the way to work(i know crazy), but not while driving promise! I barely remember what happened last week besides what went on in the books I was reading! LOL! Insane huh?
I think my DVR is barely handling all my recordings. I did mention to finally cut out about 4 hours this weekend, but I have like 25-30 hours recorded still to watch. I record Oprah, so I have like 12 shows of hers and The View(for the hot topics and sometimes the guests). Ususally, I speed up through The View and/or don't watch the whole thing. It's okay b/c summer is coming and when I get a moment, it will be nice to be able to see something , that's good and not some stupid stuff on summer tv. Then again, I could just read and that's probably what I will do once I go through all my shows. I've decided to cut out a few more shows next year. One of them is Desperate Housewives. Not sure why I am still watching it. Weird. Thank you mom for helping me realize this. LOL!
The boys are good. Chase finally went potty before baths last night. I was so proud! Preston goes all the time, but this was a first for Chase. He goes, "I pee pee potty!!" With this big smile on his face and I say, Great job!, High Five!" LOL! He smiled. The next time we purchase diapers, I think I will get the pull ups and try to start training them.
I'm starting back up and working out during lunch at work again. I'm slacking on the weekends and evenings. I want to try to lose some more weight for summer swim suits... :)
Took the boys to their first Texas Ranger game, it was fun. I have pics. Will up load later. I tried to go to the 1st In and Out Burger in the area, it opened last Wednesday and I went satruday around 3:30 and the drive thru line was a 1/2 mile long with a 1hr 20 min wait and so was the line outside. About an hour. I can totally wait. It's not THAT great of a burger anyways.. Texans are going to be like? This is it? This is what Californians are raving about?! LOL! haha.
Anyways, no more Einstein Bagels, but oatmeal and Yogurt. Need to stop eating bad in the morning and no pasta all week. We'll see how that goes..

Go MAVS!! GO!!
I can't believe it, but one of my fellow twin mom friends invited me to the Mav/Laker Playoff game tonight!! She told me Tuesday, but didn't know if SHE could actually go until yesterday!
I'm sooo freaking excited and I LOVE KOBE!! Ever since 1997 when he joined the Lakers. Most hate him, b/c well.. being cocky and there might be alot of other reasons, but I think he is one of the best basketball players out there right now and super cute. Well atleast to me. The Lakers are my 2nd favorite team, so I get to see them BOTH play together!
So this evening after I leave work, I plan to go get a pedi and then walk around West Village which is this outdoor shopping area in Uptown Dallas. I'll just be window shopping though, but it'll be nice to shop in peace and not have to rush! The game isn't until 8:30pm, so I have plenty of time.
We have another busy saturday. The daycare my kids go to is having their Spring Fling carnival at 10:30am-2pm tomorrow . Then at 3pm, my old coworker from another job son is turning 2. That party is across town at Gymboree..
Sunday is off to my mom's house for Mother's day. It should be warm 80's weekend with NO rain. Then it'll be Sunday night and ready to start the long work week again. Three more weeks until our San Antonio Vacation though! Can't wait!

Breakfast
Breakfast lately has been a real struggle b/c I've stopped eating healthy breakfasts in the morning. Probably has something to do with me NOT running consistently anymore.. :(
So this past weekend I went and bought yougurt. Not my usualy Yoplait (light) strawberry, but I decided to try something new. Super Target's Archer Farms Peach Yogurt. My my my, I think I am in love. Atleast with the Peach one. I've never tried any other flavor besides strawberry. YUMMY!!! I also bought a Strawberry Banana too! I will try that one tomorrow. I also brought in some Oatmeal packets again. I mean, I just basically got tired of it and started getting my EINSTEIN BROS Cinnamon Sugar bagels, 1 or 2 times a week! I KNOW! Bad! Or Chickfila Chicken Biscuit or pancakes from MCdonalds. I know, I know. I do get their oatmeal sometimes!!! :) So I guess this weekend, since it'll be nice, I go out in my neighborhood and run again. :( I hate seeing all these skinny girls with flat tummies around me, ok so pretty much 98% don't have kids or they didn't have twins, but still! Why can't that be me?? So I'm NOT giving up..I will continue to do my best with the time and energy and will power I have until I get to my ideal weight and flat tummy! LOL!
This week is SO busy at work. Month End Reports I run etc....
Oh and a friend of mine got tickets to see the MAVS and Lakers play here in Dallas for this Friday!! She doesn't know if she can go, but if she does she asked if I wanted to go with her and i was like HECK YEA!!
I love Kobe and I know a lot of folks HATE him, but he's an awesome basketball player, one of the best and who cares if he is a little full of himself! LOL! I really want to take my husband though. I know he really wanted to see them play also.... We'll see

Dependable
I've been told this a 1000 times, but you really can't depend on anyone BUT yourself. I had a new running buddy for this morning. We hadn't seen each other in a while even though she lives right around the corner from me. She wanted to get out and run to relieve some stress , but she texted me last night and said, she would have to take a rain check b/c she had to get into work early. Things happen. I was so excited to start running again at 5:30am again, but didn't happen. I still got up fairly early though and brought my work out clothes to work. I'll guess I'll go to the gym downstairs, even though I'd rather go outside. It's supposed to be 75 today. Beautiful!!
My husband and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary this Friday night. My parents are watching the kids that evening, while we just go to dinner. Nothing big. I'm hoping in the next 2 years, maybe for our 7th anniversary we can maybe go somewhere, we'll see. If I don't have another baby by then, HA!! You know the little girl, that I'm supposed to have that just isn't born yet? :) :) I 've already named her, well named her like 10 times, but I think I am going to stick to this last name.
One of my good friends is celebrating her 30th this Saturday night in Downtown Fort Worth. I'm excited and should be a LOT of fun! I haven't seen her in a bit and her family will all be there and I LOVE her family! :)
Sunday, I have to work b/c I run month end reports and they HAVE to be done on the 1st of every month regardless if it falls on a weekend. So luckily, it'll only take me like 2 hours unless something goes wrong. HOpefully that won't happen.
Then later that day I have my indoor soccer game at 3:30pm. This is the 2nd to last one , then I'm done with Soccer for a bit.
We are signing up the boys for swimming lessons in June and July every saturday morning at 9:30am. I was hoping to be in better shape, but that didn't happen. Hopefully the other moms Won't be in TOP shape either! LOL!
I Finally bought my ticket to Germany/London. I'll be there 7 days and traveling the 1 day going and 1 day coming back. I'll make sure to pick up my William & Kate souveneir because its MY wedding date! :) :)
I'll only have a day in London, so I will hit up the main attractions like West Minster Abbey, The Tower of London, Big Ben, some shopping , but skipping the changing of the guards, I'll just pass by the castle. I've heard its over rated. I'm traveling in October by the way..
I've heard great things about Berlin and Munich. That's where will be and then taking a day trip to Austria to check out the Sound of Music Tour! YAY!! Love that muscial!
The boys are talking more everyday. We have are fun times ,then the crying tantrum cries , but luckily it doesn't last too long.
Yesterday while we were at the park by your house, a Father and his Nanny were walking with twins in the stroller only 6 months old. I thought it was the wife until she told me she was the nanny. Offered me babysitting in the evenings or weekends and I got her number. I'll probably invite her over get to know her and she how she is with my kids. We are always looking for reliable , responsible babysitters that live close since my parents are SO far away. Well 45-50 minutes. Not that far, but they ACT like its Cananda! LOL! I especially like babysitters that have babysitted twins before. Only b/c I know they KNOW what to expect.
Next post, I'll talk more about Preston and Chase and not so much about me. LOL!

Clever Posts
The more and more I read other blogs , the more and more I realize, I can't write nor can I write clever, witty blog posts. Oh well. I guess if you've been reading this long, you obviously aren't bored with me. Now that I've moved blog websites, I only have 1 follower. Thanks Denise! I know some of you, don't have gmail accounts and don't comment but read. Thanks for still reading.
Tomorrow is good Friday and of course, my company doesn't get it off, but that's just my luck. Thank goodness the daycare is still open though so we don't have to take off. Honestly, if I had this day off, I would probably take the kids out of school and we would all go to the Zoo or something or take them to the Rain Forest Cafe. I think they would love that! Its just so crazy to take them to the cafe on a saturday.
Today the boys had their Easter Egg Hunt and Party at school. They ended having it inside their classroom b/c it was to wet and rainy outside. It was actually cold this morning. WE've been having such great weather too! It's supposed to rain like every day till Sunday. NOT cool. So much for going to another outdoor Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. My husband and I have been wanting to get the boys a Thomas the Train Table. THEY LOVE playing with trains when we go to Toy R us, but they are so expensive. I've tried looking on Craigs List, but no such luck. Maybe for a summer birthday present. WE'll see.
1 week till tomorrow until William and Kate's wedding! I can't wait to watch! I mean, she's a commoner!! LOL! Fairytale wedding! I've already watched the Lifetime movie about them. I know, so lame. I can be lame sometimes right?
I'm heading off to Germany with my sisters in October and I'm finally buying my ticket. I'm using my husband's 40k miles from American. This is the second time I'm using them. I used them when we were dating to go to Italy for school back in 2004. So nice of him. I knew he was the one for me to marry! :) So now almost 7 years later, he's helping me out again so I can go and have fun with my sisters. He's so unselfish, its amazing. One of these days, it'll all come back on him and he'll get whatever he wants. He sacrifices so much for me and the boys. Anyways, so I'm purchasing my ticket tomororw! YIPEE!!!
We are going to Munich, Salszburg Austria(SOUND OF MUSIC) and Berlin. I do have an over night in London going, so I'll try to see some stuff before I head out to Munich that monday! SO exciting! and expensive. Will be saving the rest of the year!

Crazy Weeked Coming UP
Oh My! My weekend got really busy really fast over this past week.
First it was the TCU Alumni Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday at 1:30pm. Then my niece's soccer game on the north side of Dallas Saturday morning at 10:15am. Then my husband tells me that he was asked to play in a NSBE Lockheed Martin Flag Football game back in FW at 1pm on Saturday. Then I find out about the AIR SHOW at the Airforce base by Lockheed Saturday which I KNOW the boys would enjoy! All the point out to the sky is AIRPLANES!!
Then I hear about the FW MAIN STREET Arts Festival is going on this weekend also. Okay, so we really don't HAVE to go the festival, but I would like to. We'll see how we are after the flag football game. Supposedly, there is free food, which probably means free hot dogs and hamburgers, so I will probably feed the boys there. Lockheed Martin has their own Rec Center with softball and soccer fields, but its not actually right next to the plant , but about 15 minutes away.
Not to mention my indoor soccer game is at 5pm after the EGG HUNT. So what am I REALLY looknig forward to this whole weekend? THE EGG HUNT!! I know the boys will have so much fun going and finding the eggs!!!! They didn't do one last year, so this will be the first time. Not sure how many pics I will be able to get since my husband will be at work and won't be able to come. After all, I am a MOM that obviously tries to DO IT ALL!! LOL!
Oh and did I mention my softball game is tonight at 6:15? WOW, huh?
I need to go an purchase Easter Baskets for the boys tonight. I've had their perfect outfits picked out since end of February. I know, really? All they need are some haircuts and I think I will give them those after my game tonight. I'm going to be SO exhausted Sunday night into Monday morning, but hey... Time goes by fast and I don't want to be on the couch see it go by. Just my active nature! Promise pics Sunday night of the weekend!

We'll see how we are after the flag football game. Supposedly, there is free food, which probably means free hot dogs and hamburgers, so I will probably feed the boys there. Lockheed Martin has their own Rec Center with softball and soccer fields, but its not actually right next to the plant , but about 15 minutes away.
Not to mention my indoor soccer game is at 5pm after the EGG HUNT. So what am I REALLY looknig forward to this whole weekend? THE EGG HUNT!! I know the boys will have so much fun going and finding the eggs!!!! They didn't do one last year, so this will be the first time. Not sure how many pics I will be able to get since my husband will be at work and won't be able to come. After all, I am a MOM that obviously tries to DO IT ALL!! LOL!
Oh and did I mention my softball game is tonight at 6:15? WOW, huh?
I need to go an purchase Easter Baskets for the boys tonight. I've had their perfect outfits picked out since end of February. I know, really? All they need are some haircuts and I think I will give them those after my game tonight. I'm going to be SO exhausted Sunday night into Monday morning, but hey... Time goes by fast and I don't want to be on the couch see it go by. Just my active nature! Promise pics Sunday night of the weekend!

Sick
So I guess I have a cold. No one else in my family does, but I do? Not a good time, but is it ever a good time?
MY INlaws came into town last weekend. They all went to the zoo, but me, so I had a great time doing whatever the heck I wanted. Bought a entry way bency for the house. Kind of making my own MUD Room. It's 10:06pm, I can't breathe and I'm tired. Husband worked his PT job tonight, so I've been tryin to make it. I wanted to upload new pics.

Cookies, Shows and Reading
Last week, I decided to make some oatmeal cookies. It's this recipe I use from my parents Cook book over 40 years ago they got from their wedding. I used to make it with my mom growing up. ONe of my fondest memories.
Anyways, upon grabbing the Baking Soda, it some how spilled on the ground, hince the picture below. Cookies turned out delicious as always and Preston
loves them!
On another note, a few friends who recommended Twilight to me 2 years ago finally convinced me to start reading THE Hunger Games. Hate to say it, but its very entertaining! I want to finish it tonight, but I don't know if I have the time or the energy too. Might do it tomorrow. IN Laws are coming to town and I need to clean! and fold! My DVR shows will have to wait.
Speaking of shows, I know some of you that are FB friends with me saw my post about Grey's Anatomy singing event? What was Shonda Rhimes thinking!??? I mean really? It was the worst episode I'd ever seen of GA. I think this may be their last season. I know I'm going to stop watching finally. I should have given it up a couple of years ago, but I HUNG IN THERE! LOL! I've dropped a few others. Just not worth my time, that is already limited. Keeping Army Wives and Modern Family. Everything else, I really have no rush to see.
It's late, cooking dinner for tomorrow.
Oh and took P & C to their first dental appt. Chase didn't like it of course , but PReston did awesome! Dr. Sullivan(recommended by a fellow blogger) was superb! Love her and the facility!

April Fool's!
I was able to trick only one person today with an April Fool's Joke. One of my coworkers, but other than that it's been a regular day except for the fact that it's month end at work which mean I have to audit the month end numbers and run tons of reports. It shouldn't stop me from leaving at 4pm today, but you never know.
It's going to a beautiful weekend here. High's in the 80's! YAY! after we had a high of 54 like Wednesday. So this weekend isn't as packed full of things to do, but kind of is. Tonight I'm subbing on a softball team down the street, so that'll be fun. Hubby and boys are coming b/c it has a cute covered playground and lots of running around room.
Saturday, we have to get new tires on our Passat, oil change for our Honda. Hubby is playing golf at 2 and I'm heading to my mom's house/area to see my niece run in the 8th grade district track meet and then (he doesn't know this yet) leave the boys with my dad while my mom and I check out the Outlets! :) I think he can take them to the park okay, whatcha think? LOL!
Preston, Chase and I were at Target I think Wednesday night. Chase in the front of the basket and Preston inside, trying to stand the whole time. That boy just doesn't think he needs to sit down. So I stop moving until he sits. Anyways, we were in the check out line and the lady was scanning the products after P & C just HAD to put the items on the conveyor(sp?) belt. When we got finished Preston said "Move back, Mommy", "Move back, MommY". So i moved my basket back and Preston reached over to try to push the buttons on credit card thing. Who does P think he is??? Telling me to "move back"! LOL! It sounded so cute though, I just smiled b/c its so cool to hear them talk and putting words together to form sentences. If only I can get Chase to talk more instead of whine. It can drive you crazy and the thing is, Preston NEVER whines like Chase. Totally different people.
Sunday, I'm playing indoor soccer, church and I forget what else. Not in that order of course. So glad its' friday!!
Oh I'll work on adding pics and stuff back on my blog this weekend. I know its kind of blah!

Did I tell yal we are planning a trip to san antonio Sea World for Memorial Day? So excited! Just to take a trip with the boys and get away from Dallas. We'll probably go to the Riverwalk too and do the whole boat ride thing. The boys will like that, but that's only if Preston doesn't jump into the water before hand. That boy is fast! LOL! Also planning on visiting my brother the musician(http://www.jasonramseymusic.com/Site/Home.html)
