Happy Thanksgiving

Hello! I don't even know why I post here anymore. No followers, no readers. It's okay though.

Oh here I am working on Tuesday and I thought since it was slow, I would catch yal up.

Preston and Chase are doing great and almost 4! They love to watch Football with Daddy and play soccer.  Their favorite shows are Super Why, Team Umizoomi and Bubble Guppies.

Chase's favorite foods:
Hotdogs, pork and beans, and favorite snack is Ritz crackers as of now. It changes month to month!

Chase loves to be silly tell you stories about what happened at school and what not. He also likes to for you to tell him how to spell certain names. Its so cute. He can Spell is name and almost write his name.  He knows the alphabet, knows how to count to 30. 

Preston loves the same shows, Preston loves to count and point out letters on signs and where ever. He can also count to 30, spell his own name and other kids too, write is name.  He loves playing soccer and watching football.    He loves to rationalize things in his mind. Asks lots of questions and always says, "but, but, but, but" etc.. So cute

The both like spiderman and power rangers. Love playing together and making up games. So cute. Preston and Chase love to help mommy in the kitchen and also love to help daddy clean.  They say please and thank you all the time. 

Preston is VERY Sensitive and gets mad easily if he's not 1st! Chase is easy going and doesn't mind not being first and just kind of laughs. :)

I'm having their birthday party early again this year at a Jump House place. Should be fun!

I run my first 1/2 marathon the following day on Sunday! Can't wait!

Then I'm having foot surgery 2 weeks after that! So it's a busy December!

1/2 Marathon Training

Yes, I'm running the Metro PCS Dallas 1/2 Marathon on Dec 9, in Dallas Texas. I've been trying to do this since 2006. I know, lame right? What were my excuses? Very many!!

I'm about to scratch this off my bucket list! YAY! I'm training with a Marathon/1/2 Marathon training program that meets every Saturday at 6am.  Tomorrow is 9 miles.. :)


I'm also participating in my company's biggest loser. Winners get either an ipad, iphone 5 or new ipod. % of weight with guys and girls. I'm down 8.8lbs so far and it hasn't even been a week.

Pretty crazy!

Anyways, the boys are good, life is good and I'm starting to plan the boys 4th birthday party in December. I have a couple of places in mind,  but i need to act quick b/c places are booking up fast! :)

It's crazy that they are turning 4!! Where did the time go? I loved year 3 and can't wait to see what year 4 brings us.

The question is? Do i want a 3rd baby. I want a girl very badly.. I know my chances are 50/50, but man, if only it was garunteed. I have to get through my head that a baby is a baby and if GOD wants me to have a girl, It'll be a girl...

2013 may be a year of new baby! Stay tuned! LOL!

What's been going on since My Birthday. Well....

Preston said this morning that he didn't want to go to school and I said, well I have to go to work to get money so I can buy us a new "bigger" car.. As the boys would say and that seemed sufficient enough. We recently rented a Ford Expedition to our family reunion trip and then another crossover SUV for the trip to Houston and now , all they talk about is that they want mommy to drive a 'big' car now. :( I think they like the sitting up high part, i dunno.. Unfortunately, mommy and daddy are still trying to get their finances in order so, that won't be happening until Dec or late February. Will see.

So the boys got these new bunk beds about a month ago, and yes, they are still waking up in the middle of the night and coming to find me and hubby.. Well last night both of them stayed in their beds the WHOLE night. This has only happened 1 other time, so when I went to get Preston out of the bed, he told me "no". LOL!! I ignored that, picked him up, put him on the couch where Chase was(I had gotten Chase first) and when to the kitchen to finished their pancakes and orange juice. All of a sudden I hear Preston "fake crying/whining", he gets up and walks backs into his room and gets in his bed. And all is quiet. It was the funniest thing to see him do that b/c he was walking like he was mad he was up there and rather be in bed! LOL!!

So I just fed him his breakfast in bed and then he got up after that. Preston is very strong willed...

We had a relaxing weekend.. You know Dallas is "ground zero" for the West Nile Virus. I heard the other day on World News Tonight. I was like "ground zero!" LOL!!  So people aren't like NOT doing outdoor activities or anything, but its kind of crazy that the Dallas area has SO many cases.. I have to say, I did go buy some OFF for the kids yesterday before they went bike riding... :)

I straightened up the "new" guest room since the boys took over the existing one.  Still need some more furniture pieces and some more organization... The boys are now playing the "Wii" gaming system. They like the sport games..

We got a DOWN POUR of rain FInaly this weekend, so that was nice and our temps this week will all be below 100. It's nice to have 95 degree heat. Makes a difference.

A new outlet mall just opened this past weekend in time for "Tax Free Weekend" here in Texas.. They have everything I every wanted! :) I bought me a cute purple Kate Spade wallet with some birthday money I hadn't used yet. I am in Love with it. So maybe I'll get a purse to match.. One day..


Work is getting busy.... The boys start a new school next Monday. Same Daycare, just different location. This one is pretty much in my neighborhood and right down the street where the boys will be going to Elementary school.. So it all just works out. Hopefully. Tonight is meet the teacher night. I'm excited and I hope the boys will be excited too! I kind of mentioned it this weekend and this morning. Maybe once they see it, they will understand what's going on...

Birthday

Just in case I don't get a chance to post tomorrow because it's my birthday, I wanted to post today.

So I made it another year! I'm 33 tomorrow! I went out with a small group of friends Saturday to this awesome restaurant called Eddie V's. It was a LOT of fun... Good food and great atom sphere..  Here at work tomorrow, my team is taking me out to lunch to my favorite place! You know it! Benihana's! Who hoo!! Then later my husband is getting a small cake from Kroger and him and the boys will sing happy birthday mommy and help me blow out my 33 candles. I might just put like 23.. We'll see! 

I ordered my new kitchen dining table last thursday from Ashley's Furniture. It's a Dark expresso type wood table that has "red" leather chairs. Trust me , its awesome! I got 6, because I just didn't want 4 because we always have company and our family my "grow" one day and where would the other child sit! We got a 5 year protection plan on it too! It'll help with these boys! It protects, pen marks, finger nail polish remover, any type of hot ring marks from hot food, cup rings, scratches or tears on the leather chairs... etc... It seemed actually worth it now than before with NO kids.. I'll love it and will post a pick when it gets delivered in two weeks! Hopefully sooner! :)

Hmmm.. What do I want to accomplish at 33?  I want to run a half marathon with my sister in December, I want to continue to be "conservative" with our money and NEVER go back to credit cards, I want to be a great teacher to my kids.. I want to be a more understanding wife with my husband, I want to be a great employee at my job, I want to continue to eat healthy and exercise regularly and I want to join a new church and start my boys in Sunday school.  Hopefully, I'll accomplish all these things..

I'm leaving you all with a photo of me before the dinner Saturday.. I got this dress at BCBG in Dillard's at their extra 40% off sale this past weekend. I'm SOOO glad I went in there b/c I haven't shopped at Dillard's in awhile, but I was destined to find this dress! It's so simple and I can't wait to wear it again! Oh and was a very affordable price if you've ever seen BCBG's prices.. Have a great week! This is before Eddie V's in Dallas Saturday.... Babysitter took the shot!

Okay, so Insanity DOES work? LOL!

Okay, so I decided to weigh myself this morning after not doing so for 3 weeks, due to NOT seeing the fast results I thought I would. (ha ha to myself), and I've lost 5 lbs!!!! May NOT be a lot to you all, but its just enough for me to stick to my life style eating change and continue, my hard workouts with Shawn T of Insanity! I also have to give credit to the Tropical Shakelogoy meal replacement shakes in the mornings..  So these next 4 weeks of Insanity get really tough (as I hear) with all the MAX interval training that I'll be doing.. So staying off the Sodas, sugars and carbs is working plus exercise, who would have guessed!? LOL!!

Today is a Happy Friday for me... I feel great, I've lost weight and its the weekend!! :)

The lesson I learned today is, don't be easily discouraged if stuff doesn't go your way as fast as you want it. It all takes work and motivation and just keep at it... It'll pay off!

Insanity

So this is my 5th week of Insanity... Check back with me after the next 4 weeks to see hoefully good results.. I'm sticking with it and now drinking the Shakeology Shakes they recommend with the program.  I've lost only 2 pounds, but probably some inches.  They say the real weight lost happens in the 2nd month... I'm committing to 6 days a week now. Before I was only doing 4-5 and maybe running on the days I skipped. I've incraesed my water intake that had been lacking.. We'll see.

Also, my sister wants to do the White Rock 1/2 this year with me. She said she'll fly down in December and do it, but won't by her plane ticket until I register! LOL! I've been wanting to do a 1/2 for years, so since she's motivating me, I'm going to suck it up and start training in July like most training programs for the White Rock which is now actually called "MetroPCS".  So that's that.

One bunk bed is up, but realized we will have to move rooms in the house for both beds to fit better. So we have to take part of it down and move it and then build the 2nd one. It'll be a moving room weekend... Along with my husband playing golf Saturday and me taking the boys to ANOTHER birthday party... 

Other than that, Mother in Law left last weekend, but nothing too big going on. Preparing for my Dad's side of the family's reunion in Little Rock the following weekend... Road Trip with the family. We are renting a suburban with my mom, dad, and 15 year old niece and nephew and maybe my Brother! HA!!  Luckily, its only 6 hours tops!

Should be fun to see some of my cousins....

Although, I may be taking a short Vegas trip for a friend's husbands 40th. We'll see! Have to find the cash......

Big overtime check hopefully coming in soon next week , you know from the strike that my husband worked. Should help bunches!

Today at work , I lead my 2nd call to the clients (AT&T). Wish me luck! I was so nervous 2 weeks ago and then we had July 4th break, so now hopefully, I'll be more relaxed! Love it though! :)

New Beds - New Room

Happy Friday!! My husband is finally done with the strike! It's over!!  Now he's back home in the evenings! Hallajuah!!  The boys really miss him.

 I've been consistent with my Insanity workout and eating plan over these last 3 weeks. I've haven't lost much weight, like 2lbs, but I think i've lose inches, hoepfully! I am going to stick with it b/c I KNOW it will pay off. I've stopped my sodas and other sweets and I've tried to drink more water.

I finally got the Tropical Strawberry Shakeology Shake to taste good and not SO grainy, so I'll be using that now for meal replacements :)

T-ball has been going alright, they just need more practice hitting off the T.. We need to buy one at home, but hey, it's their first time ever playing, so I will cut them so slack. :) 

So we are getting the IKEA bunk beds for the boys next weekend. So, you can flip it over to be a high bed, or a low bed until they are age appropriate! We are also getting the cute tents that go over it. Can't wait!  It was supposed to be this weekend, but my stupid Passat window broke and now is sliding down automatically. It won't stay up, so now we have to get that FIXED TOO!!! Along with the Catalytic Converter.  So ready for my new/used car in December.... So over it, but I still love that car despite its flaws!!! LOL!

I'm also going to decorate their room in a Spider man theme. That's what Preston and Chase want. They said, they want a spider man bed, tv, rug, sheets, pillow and clock! So hilarious!!!!

So that's my next product once I get some more money! :) Other than that, just trying to survive the 102 degree heat and go swimming as much as possible. I did recently pruchase 2 new swimsutis from TJMAXX , Score!! So I'll be wearing one saturday at a friends daughters water park birthday party on saturday.

And tonight is all about MAGIC MIKE with the ladies! :)

Vacations-Workout-Random

Hello Blog world!

Family Reunion July 20th - I started a weight loss challenge with my 2 sisters and mom. Winner gets $$$$... So I borrowed Insanity from a coworker. I start tonight. Started eating right today.. I HAVE to stick with it.! :)

Weekend- Went swimming at the community pool with my 14 year old niece and my boys. Had a great time! We also took them to see Madagascar 3 and they actually watched it the whole time. :)
Got a pedicure, went to the boys T-Ball game and got them haircuts Friday night

Work-- Good. Still training per se. I lead a call starting June 28th. EEEK!!! Reporting on sales of the marketing division. Nervous, but this is what I wanted to do, just got to get through the first time.

Workout/Eating- Chicken Fruit Salad from Panera and soup, Oatmeal for breakfast and Yoplait LIGHT yogurt for snack. Crystal Light and Water ....

The differences between a boy and a girl

I leave my boys with my mom Sunday, so I could go get a pedicure. Maybe I shouldn't have told them where I was going(as I pointed to my toes and said I am getting these painted) because Preston says, "Mommy, I want to paint my toes??" Ugh, what am I supposed to say to that? So I say, "Only girls get their toes painted" and he gives me this sad face :( , but then I say "Maybe we could put some clear polish on them later , okay?" Preston says, "Okay" and goes off and plays with a smile on his face.

Oh my goodness!! Can someone please tell me how I'm supposed to answer future more personal questions with my boys?!! I am not prepared! Help! :) 

They are so freaking cute though! LOVE THEM!!!!!!! :)

Update on things

Well as I type this post on my new iPad.....:) I've wanted to give an update on what's going on. My husbands company is on strike. He isnt but he has to fill in doing an odd job while they are striking. He now works 10-10pm shift 7 days a week! We are in the 4th week of this! We really thought this was going to be a week long thing but nope! So needless to say ive been a single mom in the evenings for the past 24 days. He did take like 3 days off over the time period but other than thAt nope. Just me. I'm realizing that single moms have it HARD! Although I'm thankful for extra money we are getting a week, I really want him back home! I had to eliminate on my 5am workouts:( I'm just too tired. I am going Saturday though. I wouldn't have this iPad this soon if it wasn't for the strike, soo yeah. Once the strike hits 31 days we will awesome get time and half money to us that he's worked over the month so that's even more money. We have so much stuff we are knocking out more quickly because of this. Ex: brakes fix on Honda, new catalytic converter, a/c fixed in VW, medical bills paying off, new vacuum cleaner(ours broke) and new beds for the boys. On another note, Preston and Chase are starting t-ball in June. First practice is tonight. A couple of the kids in their school are also on the team so it'll be fun because I'll know them. We plan to move e boys in August to the school in our neighborhood. It's close to the elementary school they will be going to and they will meet some of the kids that will be going ire also. Same school just different location.:) That's all for now.

 SOOOO.......

I've finally got it you guys... One of the "want" items on my list since the day it hit the market.  It's my baby, my love, my go to guy.. He'll tell me everything I need to know just by asking. I can play with him, I can read him, i can take him anywhere.  He will play with my kids. My kids will learn things from playing with him. He'll teach them things too and he'll read to them.

I'm sure yal have figured it out by now. His name is Kobe(I already named him) and he's is the NEW IPAD and he's white. :)  He's ready for me to pick up him up at the store.  I plan on getting him at lunch time and he will come to work with me for the rest of the day. I could never leave him alone. He's too precious..

Thank you Preston , Chase and Reg for such an amazing Mother's Day gift. I try to be the best mom I can and I know you(meaning husband) put in a LOT of hours at work for me to get one.

I love you boys!! You're my joys, you make me smile, laugh and cry(sometimes) and I appreciate you all.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, God mother's, Play Mothers, etc...  You deserve it!

WHAT A WEEK!!!

Sooo... I was almost a single mom all week M-Sunday last week.  My husband works for a company that has UNION workers and they went on strike last week.  He got chosen to work 12 hour shifts in lieu of this. So he worked 10am - 10pm every day last week.  So I worked and was at home with the boys every sing week night and then ALL DAY Saturday and Sunday! OMG!! NOW I have a taste of being a single parent with two kids is like. It's so freaking hard! And I didn't even take them in the morning. Husband was still able to take them. Talk about tired! So good thing is that he got paid for 84 hours last week. I don't know HOW people work 80 hour weeks. It's so funny though. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, I would walk out the room or try to run up to the store and my boys would be like, Where's Mommy? Where is she going and I'm like, ummm I've been with you every single minute when we were at home, and you still want me around? What about daddy!?? LOL!! Unfortunately, they have NOT come to an agreement, but they are still on strike. Luckily, my husband said they told them what days the needed off this week and he is not working Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so I'm cook with that. Hate to say the money ain't bad and we NEED it. :)

Yesterday was our 6 year anniversary and he wasn't even home. I had planned this weekend for us to go to the Zoo with the boys Saturday and then have my parents watch the boys on Sunday for a nice dinner.  What ended up happening was I took the boys to my parents house Saturday and then I cooked pot roast on Sunday with no hubby home to eat it fresh. IT Sure was good though.Mother in Law recipe. :) I did on Saturday get a mani/pedi, so that was relaxing...

I was able to get a few things done when they were napping Sunday, like organize their drawers , clean up my room, go through the mail etc... We went to Target and later I took them to the park where another one of their classmates was there, so they started playing with her and I started chatting with the mom. :)

I'm starting my 3rd week at my new job at the Marketing Agency and I simply love it! I also loved the 2 week "fat" check I got today also. Loving this new job and the raise! :)

Well soccer is coming to an end with 2 games left and on to t-ball in June. Today is the last day to sign them up, so that is what I'll be doing on my lunch break. I also need to call the swimming lesson guy today on when I can sign him up for that. It's basically for two weeks M-F and then M-Th for 30 minutes. I've heard this one of the best ways to go! They learn so much more and faster if you go every day and not once a week or twice a week etc... And he only does 2 per class, so it's perfect for my boys!! We got many recommendations for this guy, so I'm excited.. We'll see how they do and I'll keep you posted.

One good thing about this extra money is not only do we have extra to pay down our debt, but my husband offered to give some of this money to FINALLY get me and IPAD!!! I was so shocked because he has been all about paying off debt which I am too, but I think I'll let this one time slide and take him up on this offer! :) We are also getting a MUCH needed kitchen table. That's coming from my paid out vacation from my old job....  I have some really cute pics of the boys we took a month ago. I finally got the cd back this Saturday. I'll try to post them this week!  Happy Monday

Children's Books

I need more Children Books for the boys.. Does anyone know where I can purchase cheap/inexpensive Children's books for my boys. I've been slacking on reading to them at home due to NO new books, but want to start back stocking up.  And now pay like an ARM and a Leg at B&N etc..

Also, I've never taken my kids to the library. Mainly because I don't go anymore and my boys talk so loud!!! Anyways, when is a good age to introduce them to the library? I know they have events there for toodlers and mostly these are held during the day for Stay at Home moms... Anyone have any ideas?

On another note, this weekend was super busy and it wasn't really intended to be, but geez did DFW have great weather.  I ran in the FW Zoo 5K, which was fun, but i didn't do very well. Next time. It had been a year since I competed... Then the boys had they team soccer pics at 10am and then a game at 11am, where Preston cried like 7 times. He's only cried in one other game. What happened was that the other team had very fast boys and they pushed Preston all over the place and the Preston would push back and then he would start crying. It was a mess!!  We only have 3 more games.  This was the MOST aggressive team we've played. I'm ready to move on to T-Ball where there isn't man on man contact! LOL!

Then we met a friend and her twin boys at Legoland in Grapevine. What a great place. It's not very big, but the boys LOVED It! Their favorite area was the build a lego car and race in down the ramp! :)

That evening we had some other friends swing by with their little girl. We hadn't seen them in like 2 months.

Sunday, some moms from the boys daycare met at a local park for a picnic. It was a nice park, that I hadn't been to. Had Volleyball (sand), basketball and a great "age appropriate" playground. It was nice b/c there were so many helpers with my boys and one of the girls brought sand stuff, so all the kids went down and played in the sand. Needless to say, the boys needed a bath afterwards.. :)

Then they napped in the car on the way to see "A day out with Thomas the Train". This is where they have a real train , but with Thomas's face , that you can ride for 25 minutes. They were already sold out, but we got to enjoy other festivities.

We plan to take the boys on a train here in DFW. Either Dallas's or FW's, just for fun. CHASE really wanted to do the BIG train. I felt so bad.

Our 6 year anniversary is April 29th. We were going to go out to the zoo(since I got a free ticket from doing the zoo run and the boys are still '2 years old' ;) hahaha. But we'll see. Maybe take them to this new restaurant in FW called "The Wood Shed". We'll see.

Gotta get through my 2nd work week! :)

New Job and the weekend

My new job! I do love it! I like what I'm doing. I love the whole Marketing industry. Well I guess I love my job this first week! :) hahahaha... People are nice.. I just like it. I don't regret leaving my prior company at all..  
With this job, there is more flexibility. I can work from home again easily. My manager is a working mom with young kids and said she totally understands when there sick and I can work from home those days no problem.  Of course more pay is always nice. :)

I'm running the 5K in the FW Zoo Run tomorrow. I'm targeting 10.5 min/mile, so wish me luck! It's supposed to actually be kind of cool in the morning, which is good.

Then the boys have soccer pics and a game at 11. Then heading off to Legoland with the boys. They are 2 still, so i can NOT pay for them. It's expensive!

Then we have some friends stopping by Saturday evening.

Excited about the weekend. I think my husband and I are going to do a movie tonight and drop are kids off at the Kids Park thing close the theater. It's affordable adn the kids a TONS of fun. Since we will only be needed it for 2.5 hours at the most.

Necessary Endings - New beginnings

I've left my current employer last week and I am moving on to a new position at a Marketing Agency! So excited! I wasn't looking intently, but just put my resume out there and was contacted by their recruiter.

Anyways, I have this week off, so I'm TRYING to do work around the house, clean , Organize etc... I hope I can atleast get 50% of it done.

SO today was Chase's first day in Preston's class. He's finally potty trained, so yay!! Only pullups at Night time... It's greatness!!
 I can't believe I never posted this last week, but here it is!

So I love it here so far... Learning about the Marketing Industry is great! I also have the ability to work from home too and my boss is super cool about working moms and how they can get sick and stuff comes up.

My sister's coming to town!

My sister , that lives in California is coming in town tomorrow till Wednesday, along with her 2 kids and her husband. I'm so freaking excited. We are going Saturday to see The Hunger Games. I got her to read the books, so we are super excited!!!

My nephew is also turning 4 so we are doing professional pictures at a park near my parents house on Sunday and then having a family birthday party at home with a surprise bounce house!

Then I'm taking a vacation day on Tuesday and we are all going to the Fort Worth Zoo! I think it will still be sunny and warm. This weekend Dallas/FW area is expecting 80's and sunny! Yippee!!! I love warm weather! :)

So Chase is finally pooping in the toilet, yay!! So they only wear pull ups at night! I'm satisfied. Sometimes they do wake up dry... So that's good.

The boys are playing indoor and outdoor soccer right now, but the indoor only has 3 more games and outdoor starts this saturday. Then we will follow with swimming and baseball this summer. It so much fun watching them in organized sports! I'll have to post pictures soon.

Happy Friday! I got my bonus today! Who hoo!!! It's all going to bills and getting the car fixed! Whooo hooo!! :)

This weekend is a pretty relaxed weekend. We only have the boys soccer game at 3pm tomorrow. Nothing else is going on. Which is good b/c its going to be cold and rainy this weekend.

Well our kitchen sink faucet broke Monday evening. So my husband and my dad are installing a brand new one. That's cool and all, but I didn't want to give up that money for a faucet when there are plenty of other things we could put that money too. :( Atleast we didn't have to hire a plummer and pay for labor! Thanks Daddy!!

Anyways. Still looking for motivation to work out. I see NONE in my future. Oh well.

Dave Ramsey

Dave Ramsey has me laughing on his radio show during the week b/c some of the things he's says, I TOTALLY said to myself before! Hilarious! I was so stupid!! Things I made myself believe was a mind of a "Broke" person and I am that, but NOT FOR LONG!!

Things I pick up on reading others blogs

I find myself repeating things that other mom's on the blogs I read do. For example , last night after we came from riding our bikes and from the park, the boys NEVER are happy about washing their hands. So I decided to use the scenario that Sarah posted in her blog here.

Basically, I said there are Germs on your hands when you play outside and if they get into your tummy, it makes your tummy hurt! They were like "germs?". I was like "yes, germs". Then Preston starts his reasoning and repeating thing. SO basically, I think I got them on board with washing their hands now. I guess I you just need a little help in how to approach certain ideas to you kids and that's what I love about reading other mom's blogs. By the way, Sarah is a mom of triplets who works a full time job 40 + hours a week(and commutes an hour each way by train) and her husband works too!

TGIF!! On another note, The boys have their 2 soccer game at noon tomorrow. I'm excited. We'll see how many times Preston touches the ball with his hands this time! Other than that , it'll be a pretty laid back weekend. Meaning No money spending! Yay!! I'm going to take Abby's advice here and save a little each week for my ipad. So I gave up my Benihana's habit for Lent. That'll get me started.

Workout: Need to start that back up again along with my eating, so I going to try to get back on Shakeology to help out. Here's the new flavor here! I can't wait to try it tomorrow morning. Thanks Christina!

Friday off

So this past Friday, I took vacation day. Not really, it was more like a Comp day(for working Sunday Jan 1st) anyways, I had a ton of errands to run.

Like, getting a massage(which sucked. I need to stick with Chiropractor massasge therapist), getting shin guards and socks for the boys, Mary Kay order pick up, etc...

I wanted a new affordable outfit for my friends shower I was hosting Saturday, so after seeing some really cute pieces from my blog friend here, I decided to hit up Forever 21.

Now, I've never really been a FAN of this place. But my mind has changed since then and so have my financial situations. I mean, I didn't even know that you can't return things for a refund, only exchange policy! Anyways, I thouroughly enjoyed some of the inexpensive pieces they had! Totally , can work it in conjunction with clothes I already have! What I got was a skinny bright orange belt(it's not really orange, but I don't know the name of the color) , a off white blazer jacket, and a cute sleeveless , striped blouse type shirt to go under the jacket. I'm not going say what I paid, but it was definitly affordable. So they had SOOO much stuff. The store is just huge! WHo has time to go through every single rack? Not me. Anyways, I plan to go back and get some more things when the budget says I can, but it was most exciting to buy cute stuff for a cheap price and fashionable! :) H&M is the same way, but I actually haven't found anything I've wanted to purchased since they first opened the store up last year. I have only been twice though. Like i said, who has the time? Not me!

Okay, 2 posts in one hour. Now off to listen to the Dave Ramsey show online. 1-4pm. takes me through my day at work. :)

Soccer, Soccer and more....

Saturday Preston and Chase participated in their first organized sport. Soccer. It was indoor which helped with the whole out of bounds issue we'll face later. They did SOOOOO Good! They are both fast, but Preston dominated with being more aggressive. That's just his nature rather than Chase is laid back. It was a cold rainy day saturday too! Perfect for indoor soccer. I'll post the photos at the bottom. My camera is old and just a Canon Powershot with 10 Mgpixels, so a lot of the photos came out dark. Preston kept trying to pick up the ball and move it so he got the whistle blown on him a lot at first, but by the end , he got the hang of it! :)

Later, I headed up the a resturant where a friend of mine was having a mini shower for her 2nd little girl. It was just a gathering of friends/family , gift cards and diapers.

Other than that, more stuff has gone down, but I don't feel like writing about it! LOL!

Today's My Friday!

I'm taking one of my days that I get for working Jan 1st this year which was a Sunday, tomorrow. So I'm thrilled. It's not going to be a relaxing day, but nevertheless a fun filled day! I'm finally getting a MUCH needed Pedicure, a MUCH needed 30 minute massage, I'm taking care of MANY errands.

I'm going to pick up the boys soccer shin guards, shorts and socks for their 1st ever orgainzed sport game Saturday! :) I'm purchasing a new laundry basket, some new face towels. I don't know what happend to the ones we had! EEK!! And much more stuff that I don't need to write about b/c it's not THAT big of a deal...

Oh and my husband and I are going for a nice dinner. I guess you could say V-day brought it on, or maybe the fact they we get our refund tomorrow, (probably the later) that we are doing this! hahah!!

I'm excited to have some time alone at dinner. Every couple needs that once in awhile without the kids. As my friend Christina would say, "going on a date". :)

So while I was looking on PinInterest I saw some great wedding decor ideas for the reception tables and favors. Starting really to LOVE this site. I also ran across this webisite called, tipjunkie.com. Check it out. Well it got me thinking that I really want to do something CUTE and fun for the bboys birthday. We'll see what happens. They most likely won't do a birthday party on their 5th because we want to take them to Disney WORLD!! We'll see though. Maybe we will make it Disneyland and go with my sister.

Also, I'm trying to attend a TCU baseball game Sunday even though this whole "drug" bust just went down. So horrible. Anyways. Busy weekend for me!

Happy Valentine's Day or NOT so Happy?

I'ts been a busy day! I've learned many things today.

Anways, I feel AWFUL for seperating my boys! I don't think it was the right decision. It pains me that they don't see each other all day at school. I'm awful!! What is wrong with me. It's like I don't get to see them all day and now I took away the only family they had all day. Gosh I can't move Preston back to the Early Preschool, but I can't move Chase foward unitl he is fully potty trained! What would yal have done if you had twins? They aren't used to be without each other in school

Tomorrow we have ANOTHER birthday party to go to. It's one of the boys friends at school and his brother. They were born on the same day and one is turning 3 and the other 5. It's down in the FW Stockyard area. Seems like a really cool themed birthday party. They get to like ride a kid mechanical bull and other cowboy stuff. I dunno. I don't know much about that stuff, so maybe I'll learn something! :)

The hospital down the street from me is having an open house on their new Women's Center and you can meet the OBGYN's. I probably won't ever have another baby there b/c I plan to stick with my old OBGYN, but I still want to see the hospital and they are giving away free stuff!! :) So that's from 9-11am, saturday.

So after talking with the boys school, Preston will be transitioning to the next room which is Pre-School, not Early Pre-School that they are in right now and leaving Chase behind. We'll see how Monday goes!!

Still trying to get the boys to sleep and stay in their beds. I want to really work on it tonight, Saturday and Sunday. Chase still wakes up and winds and looks for a "warm body" as my husband calls it and then goes right back to sleep. Maybe we can get him to want the stuff animal to keep him comfy. I dunno.

Geez, I want to post but looks like I have nothing to say! :(
Oh, Preston and Chase's new favorite show is Chugginton, Jake the Pirates and Mickey Mouse Club. I've kind of mentioned that we are taking them to Disney World(u know where the disney castle is) on their 5th Birhtday. So we'll probably go before Christmas and it'll be off season! who hoo!!!

I bought my very first item on Etsy today! I feel like I've arrived! LOL!

I love her blog. She also has twins(b/g) and loves fashion, like me. Only SHE can afford to buy the nicer designer stuff, that I can't. Although she also shops at Forever 21 and other inexpensive stores. She just has great style and I long to be as stylish as her. She is a stay at home mom, but has her 2 etsy shops. Maybe she'll have a giveaway for some free Louboutins? yea right. I don't think she follows me on my blog nor on Twitter, but that's okay.. Anyways, I'm sure I'll love what I purchased. It was some body cream lotion and lip balm.

On to other things... We were able to reschedule our Tax Appt for today at noon. Long story on WHY we didn't go last Friday. Doesn't matter anymore. We are going today. What's 4 days right?

Preston will be moving to then next Preschool Classroom next Monday if all goes well with not peeing at nap time this week. Chase will be left behind if he doesn't get on the ball with pooping on the toilet. I've decided that I will move them seperately. Almost everyone from our room has moved up but them and their birthday was first! So Come Chase! You can do it! :)

Lunch Today

I'm going to lunch with a friend today. She is a long time friend. Very Long. She is a tricky friend. I've realized I kind of have to be on egg shells with her about what I talk about and why I ask her about. So today, I'm just going to let her talk and say minimal things. I think this is the safest way for her not to leave the lunch upset over stuff.

I try to accept my friends for who they are and that we won't Always get along. People say I'm too nice and that they would have dropped this person a long time ago. We've been through a lot. Lots of childhood memories before she moved away and lost touch for a good decade I would say... I don't know. I guess through all the ups and downs, I'm just not ready to like NEVER talk to her again. I'm not perfect either, so if she can put up with my craziness, I can put up with hers!! LOL! Hey atleast I'm learning how to keep the peace between us. I would say that shows maturity?

On Another note, Preston and Chase are now asking, "who is on the phone"! Can you believe that! So funny. They also love watching me make cookies or anything in a bowl that they can mix up! So funny! The both drag their chairs over to the island and watch. So funny, when the legs get caught on the rug and they say,"Mommy, i need help" or "Help Mommy, Help"! Love it!

We have our tax appt tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be smiling big once we find out how big of a refund we are getting. We need it to be big! We have plans for that money! Car repairs, catch up on bills etc... Please! I wish I could add more with my Mary Kay business... Just need someone to join with me. That would help. Still liking it though.

My DH goes out of town today and returns tomorrow for work. Off to Panama City! So its just me and the boys by ourselves for the 1st time! Can you believe it? Usually its me leaving or when he did travel when they were babies, My mom came and spent the night! It'll be fun, but I can't garuntee the house will be clean though. :)

I LOVED Judy Blume books growing in Junior High! I think I read almost ALL OF THEM! I am also a fan of hers on Facebook. She really started me into reading. I never read the Babysitter's club( maybe a couple) or Nancy Drew, I read Judy Blume books, Superfudge, etc.. Anyways, over at Mandey's Blog, she is doing a picture/post challenge to take a self portrait and tell a little bit about myself. Here's me.

I like the profile shot. My face head on is too ROUND! I dislike my round face. I would love some Cheekbones. This was the reason the modeling agents/schools told me growing up when I was trying to be a model. I didn't look different enough. I was TOO commerical for Runway. More like magazines, print ads, etc.. Oh well for that.

So this winter/spring, I'm on a misson to get fit! I want to get into my Seven jeans and not feel like my thighs will break the seams. I want to do more fun things with my kids. They are so awesome.

Strep Throat

Poor little Chase has strep throat. His brother, nothing yet. I stayed home yesterday and my mom is at my house now. He also has a cold on top of the strep throat, but his fever is not TOO high and he does play. He seemed to miss playing with his brother. They had a good time once he got home from school.

I love that my mom can come over when needed. Good that.(as they would say in the book i'm reading called The Maze Runner). :)

So I'm back at work and really tired for some reason. We have a 1st birthday party to go to on Saturday. Other than that, nothing else going on really this weekend. Tomorrow is Friday! Who hoo!

Chase and Potty Training

Why can't Chase do it? Preston does, many kids in his classroom do?
Mommy does it? Mommy's shown Chase how it's done. Daddy does it, but he hasn't shown him like Mommy has. We talk about it where we should poop. Preston tells him where to poop! Chase tells me his tummy hurts. I ask Chase, "Do you need to go poo poo?" Chase says no, but 2-5 minutes later after I say you DO NOT go Poop in underwear or pull up, but in toilet, like Preston, Daddy and Mommy, but NOOOOOOOO he does it any way.

What do I do? How can he learn faster? When will it click? We keep ruining undewear, its ridiculous!! They ususally aren't this far apart on learning anything new from each other(does this makes sense)?

The bad thing is, we are almost always "OUT" when he goes... So I can't just run him to the toilet and he HARDLY EVER goes at School.

Chase, sweetie, please please, figure it out soon.

Oh yea and then we'll work on keeping you in your bed and not waking up briefly twice a night.

New Hair Conditioner?!

Who would have known that my hair would work so well with :
Pantene (Curly) Dry to Moisturized Conditioner would be the best THING EVER.

OMG! I put this conditioner own and combed through my curls like it was nothing!! Unbelievable! I've been trying all kinds of products out to moisturize my natural hair, but most of the time it was sooo tangled! Anyways, it even made my curls not so frizzy and I almost wore it curly this week, but then I decided to go ahead and straighten it. Maybe next week!

Now, I just need to go purchase their Deep Conditioning Treatment! I love you Pantene!! See I didn't have to use your "Relaxed and Natural" line of products! ;)

So Far So Good!

I just came back from getting my crown on from the dentist and she asked me what I did differently today to my face and I was like, "ummmmm, I'm wearing my Mary Kay Creme to Powder foundation" She was like that looks amazing!(okay, maybe she said "really good"). Then she asked me if I'd ever tried the satin hands and I thought to myself 'I could say, yes and not mention I sell it, OR i could say yes and say, that I DO sell it!" I went with the later and guess what? She wanted to order sets for ALL of her employees for Valentine's day! 8 people! who hoo!! Then she is intersted in looking at their anti aging products for her eyes and etc... We have great stuff for that! So when I drop off the product, I'm dropping off a magazine for her too! and maybe leave one in the office! So needless to say, I gained another client plus maybe all the ladies that work in the dental office! Talk about growing my business in 2012! She also went ahead and wrote me the check too! So far, so good!

I ran with the boys in the BOB stroller last night. Oh MY! I am soooo out of shape! I only went 1.5 miles in 20 minutes! How horrible and my legs were killing me. Well they are a tad bit heaver than they used to be. I'm running with a coworker at lunch today at work. We'll see if i do better. I'll be using my myfitness app to track our time and distance! LOve it!

So loving Texas weather today! 79 degrees! Yippee!! Could you ask for a more beautiful day! I should have taken off enjoyed outdoors stuff all day. Maybe taken the boys the the zoo or something. Not much going on here at work anyways..

What can I say? Even though I can't get any of it right now, i can still dream right?

So I'll just keep on bringing my old (purse), using my Amazon Kindle App on my Iphone and keep on driving my little 4 door broke down Passat with 2 HUGE car seats in them with NO room until its time. Oh did I tell you it has over 200,000 miles on it? ahahahahah. It also needs major stuff done, but it's still rolling!

1) my sister's wedding in Virginia! Awesome!
2) Losing weight. I plan to drop 20 lbs!! Get back to single digits. ;)I'm a size 10. I want a size 6 back! Keeping it off! Lifestyle change!
3) Dropping the Debt we owe to creditors
4) My boys sleeping in their beds ALL Night!
5) Growing my Mary Kay business
6) Grow in my current full time career. Maybe some different/better opportunities? We'll see.
7) Trying to be a better person and great mom! Oh yea, and wife.
8) Read more, less tv. That ususally happens in the summer time though.
