Happy Birthday!!

Today at 5:15 and 5:16pm , Chase and Preston were born! They have forever changed my life and can't wait for many many more birthdays to come!

I love you guys!!! Best Christmas gift ever!!!

Okay, So I'm a Liar, I guess

I decided to blog again... LOL!

So I ain't got no, Ipad or Ipad 2, a sorry laptop computer, no router, a used printer with no color ink and that I have to put heavy paper on to keep the lid closed so it will work, No new car, No kitchen table, no wood floors, no King Size bed, No Kindle or Kindle Fire, No huge savings account, No money basically, etc...

BUT......

What I do have is a health Chase and Preston who are growing, talking and learning more and more each day. That makes me happy and If I can remember that everytime I'm envious on what other folks have, I think I'll be alright. :)

I have to get in my head that all that stuff is sooo materialistic which I can say I DO get caught up in, doesn't really mean anything if you and your family aren't healthy. We could have it worse. We have a house and we can eat and both have jobs. What else is there??? :)

I'm just going to keep dreaming big!

It's Santa Time!

Thanksgiving Came and Went

Where am I now? Planning for the boys 3rd birthday party this saturday. I decided to have it early this year and now around their Actual birthday , which is December 23rd.

I'm ordering their cake tonight or tomorrow. It's a Toy Story cake. I can't make cakes like some very talented moms. :(

I'm getting so very exctied. we have 14 kids coming.! Hopefully , they will come. If not, that's okay. Things come up!

I enjoyed my 2 days off work plus the weekend last night. Very relaxing. I did go to Toy R us on Friday around 10am to get the boys NEW bikes for Christmas. Its the 14 inch Mater bike. YAY!!! Another friend is getting them matching helmets for their birthday. So that's cool!

We will also be in town for Christmas and plan on visiting my in laws New Year's eve weekend. I don't think I've been down there all year! I can't remember. Still doing Mary Kay which is helping financially.

Preston is pretty much potty trained now! Except for a night. he's always soaked! So i Chase some of the time, but other times he holds it. Amazing!
Preston will even go poo poo on the toilet! He finally is over the whole standing up to poop! :)
Chase is pretty much there too, but has had a few more accidents and has YET to poop in the toilet. Soon though!!

Oh the next step is to get them to sleep in the beds ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Over Christmas break! That's our plan!

So instead of them fighting over who's going to be what, I just dressed them in the same costume. Lightening McQueen. They are REALLL into "fast" cars are they say. So i thought it was appropriate. I don't actually like the Cars movies b/c I think they are boring! I should have just done Woody and Buzz Lightyear...

I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 3 and half weeks and Christmas right after that.

I'm having the boys 3rd birthday party on Dec 3rd, 20 days before their actual. Just wanted it to be really seperate this year.

Europe Bound

In less than 48 hours I will be on a plane to London!! I'm so pumped about going over seas! I love going to different countries and see how they live? I'm so excited to get a break from work. It's been so busy and stressful lately!!

I have so much to do though!! I'll get it done though! I can't even type right now! Will tell all about when I return in two weeks!

Go Frogs!

So me and the family attended the SMU vs TCU game this past saturday. I received my MBA from TCU and my husband his Masters of Engineering from SMU via our company paying for them. THANKS!!! :)

Well since my boss and many others that work for my company attend the games and tailgate, we made our visit. Plus we got free tickets to the game! As you can see in the new photo that I got them TCU shirts. My husband didn't care either way. He's more of an Texas A&M fan b/c he went there in undergrad. Anyways, we had a good time! It was hot, but not as hot as like say 105. It was only 88, but sitting in the stands in the sun was draining. Plus the boys can't sit a whole game anyways, so we ended up going down to the lower level to let them walk and run around. Took picture with the Chick fil a cow that was there. All in all, it was a fun trip even though, I had to work that morning from 9-11:30. I also missed a friend's son's 2 year birthday party at 11 at her house. Still very sad about that, but it's hard sometimes. I have to realize that I can't make every event, even though I do try...
I missed another friend's kids birthday party and I honestly think, I've been to everyone of her parties. Well maybe 3 years old was he first one I went to. Anyways, I was sad.

On another note, the boys are so good! Preston's new words are "Nope", "Not Yet" and "Okay". So cute. I mean he says many other words, but those are some cute ones.
Chase hasn't caught on to those words, but I"m sure it'll be soon. Preston is usually the first to bring in new words. I love the fact that I hear them talking with each other and having cute little conversations that I can actually understand! Oh yesterday, I was making cookies from scractch and Preston says' Mommy?, What you doing?" I love it!

Let's talk Europe
9 More days until London (1day), Munich(4 days), Berlin(2 days) and Salzburg, Austria(1 day) ! Crazy huh? I'm so not packed or prepared. I'm just trying to get through each day.

Once again, I has so much to talk about and someone called and got me distracted on my thought process, so bye for now.

Resturants and children

I just read the funniest post from a fellwo blogger. The name of her blog is Buried with Children. See link here.

She is a mom of triplets and a singleton. She was saying how she has trained her children how to act in a resturant and if you never take them to resturants then they will never know. Well, we don't ever go to resturants b/c of what had happened the few times we have take them. So Friday was my husband's birthday, 9/15 and we went to Fridays. We figured since Friday's is NOT a quiet resturant if they were loud it'll be okay. Well it wasn't the fact of them making a lot of noise or crying it was CHASE throwing things! He threw a napkin over the booth to another girls plate, it was horrible. He did it soo fast we couldn't stop him! He just wouldn't sit still. I was really impressed with Preston. AND no the crayons and paper did NOT hold their attention all but 3 minutes. The games on my phone pretty much kept Preston's, but Chase could care less.

Anyways, what I think I am going to do now is take them to a resturant every Friday night and TRAIN them on how we act while there. Otherwise, we will never be able to go to resturants b/c they won't know any better...

Someone commented saying they take their kids to Mexican resturants b/c of the chips ans salsa. My kids have never had salsa, but I think it's time to expose them to it! That might keep them occupied till food comes, but what will they eat? A fajita? LOL!

Any ideas of good kid resturants/loud ones to get your kids accustomed to how to act? I'm determined to get them to sit down and keep themselves busy.

In another note, I ran 2 miles on the treadmill at lunch today work. Now for my 4 miles on Saturday. :) On the road to my Half!

where do i begin

Oh gosh, it's been so long since I've blogged.
Hmm... What's been going on?
1) I'm actually training for the half marathon in december. YAY! Started this week.
2) Work is busy because I have a new manager and i'm like training him?
3) I'm heading off to Germany with my sisters for our bi annual sister trip. Minus one sister.
4) Kids continually keep me busy and puzzle me. Preston has a rash on his leg that we can't figure out what's up. Changing Pediatricians finally, MINE is just horrible.

That's what's going on in a nutshell.

Every day on the way to work, I see a plan either landing or taking off from DFW Int'l airport and I just imagine that being me in 24 days!! YES! I am counting down!! :)

There was so much I wanted to blog about, but I forgot now. :(
